Ethiopian Airlines to begin 787 Dreamliner service from Washington, D.C. in October
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Ethiopian Airlines recently received its first 787 Dreamliner airplane, the first in the world after Japan and the first in Africa, and next week travelers can be among the first in the world to travel on the new aircraft.
Beginning in October, Ethiopian Airlines new Boeing 787 Dreamliner will go into service on non-stop flights from Washington Dulles International Airport to Addis Ababa , with connecting service to more than 40 destinations in Africa. Travelers on the new aircraft will experience state-of-the-art comfort and convenience of flying the world’s most advanced commercial aircraft. Better yet, Ethiopian Airlines is offering a special promotional fare on flights through November 30, 2012.
Members of the Ethiopian Airlines’ ShebaMiles program, are eligible to receive Bonus Miles for travel through November 7, 2012.

The 787 Dreamliner brings a new level of aircraft advances to the traveling public. Its composite material structure is lighter and consumes less fuel than a similar sized aircraft constructed from other materials.
